First Citizens AAMSI Endowed Scholarship Fund

First Citizens is proud to invest in the communities where they live and work. They are working with nonprofits like the Greenville Tech Foundation to address issues fundamental to economic resilience and social progress in low- and moderate-income communities. Their focus is on improving the lives of individuals and families by investing in areas such as workforce development and financial education. They also seek to strengthen the resiliency of our communities by addressing the needs related to affordable housing, small business and neighborhood revitalization. They recognize that people and communities of color continue to face significant challenges, and we’re working to advance racial equality and economic opportunity throughout many of our partnerships.

Students eligible for this scholarship are those enrolled in certificate, diploma, degree, or vocational programs at the College. A student must have and maintain at least a “C” average or 2.0 GPA at the College, or from previous high school or college academic work if not previously enrolled at the College. The Committee may override this requirement for special circumstances. For this scholarship, the Committee will give preference to students enrolled in the AAMSI program.
