Talon Kade Gambrell Nursing Scholarship

This nursing scholarship is in honor of Talon Kade Gambrell, the son of Barry and Karen Gambrell. Talon was a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital downtown. H received his associate degree from Greenville Tech and his bachelor’s degree in nursing from USC Upstate where he made the Dean’s List. He tragically passe away in an automobile accident on February 7, 2018. He was a loving, caring nurse who loved to help people.

Students eligible for this scholarship are those enrolled in certificate, diploma, degree, or vocational programs at the College. A student must have and maintain at least a “C” average or 2.0 GPA at the College, or from previous high school or college academic work if not previously enrolled at the College. Preference will be given to students in the Nursing program for tuition, books, testing fees and/or supplies.
