Jolley Family Endowed Scholarship

Established in December, 2015, to recognize the legacy of giving begun by Robert A. Jolley, Sr. and continued through his family and foundation. Mr. Jolley was an entrepreneur who began his successful career in Greenville, SC, in the beverage distribution business. His success and interests grew to build the successful Textile Broadcasting Company that ultimately, with new partners, became Multimedia, Inc., a major communications company serving the southeastern and mid-western United States. Mr. Jolley started the Jolley Foundation as a way to help two employees as they struggled with serious illnesses. As the Jolley Foundation has grown the Jolley family has continued Mr. Jolley’s legacy of supporting the Greenville community with a strong focus on education. The scholarship provides assistance for tuition, fees, books and supplies for students accepted or enrolled in a certificate, diploma or associate degree program of their choice. Minimum 2.0 average from previous high school or college academic work. Resident of Greenville County with financial need as verified by the Financial Aid office. Must maintain minimum 2.0 GPA if awarded for more than one term.
