Chef Judy Balsizer Legacy Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2006 by the Fall for Greenville board of directors from the festival proceeds. Fall for Greenville is the annual “Taste of our Town” festival which is the largest food-based street festival in the Southeast. The scholarship was renamed in 2023 in memory of Judy Balsizer, co-owner of Two Chefs in Greenville and former two-time Board Chair of Fall for Greenville, who passed away in 2023 after years of championing the culinary advancement of Greenville and the Fall for Greenville event. The scholarship is awarded to accepted or enrolled students in the Culinary Arts program and is based on academic achievement and financial need. To remain eligible recipients must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
