Mark Johnson Endowed Scholarship

The Mark C. Johnson Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 by family and friends to honor the memory of Mark Carlton Johnson, RN who died unexpectedly in 2017. Mark was passionate about nursing and also believed that everyone should have access to quality education. He worked as a nurse at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic for many years and believed strongly in helping others less fortunate than he. The scholarship is awarded based on financial need and preference is given to students accepted or enrolled in Phase I of the nursing program at GTC. A 2.0 GPA is required for eligibility.
