Jeff Burdette Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1992 in memory of City of Greenville Police Officer Carl Jeffrey Burdette, who died following a six-year illness with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease), by his widow, Kimberly D. Burdette, and the Greenville County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 17. It is awarded to accepted or currently enrolled students in the program of their choice, based on financial need and academic potential. To remain eligible recipient must maintain a 2.5 GPA.
