Joseph N. and Mary Helen Johnson Watkins Scholarship

Established in 2008 by Carolyn Watkins in memory of her mother and father. Mrs. Watkins was originally from Laurens, SC, but moved to Hendersonville, NC, when she was in the 8th grade. She loved children and her pride and joy was her only grandchild. Awarded to accepted or enrolled students in any diploma or associate degree curriculum program/department of student’s choice at Greenville Technical College. Preference given to one male and one female student who has experience living and working in diverse communities. Students must have between a 2.0 and 3.0 GPA. To remain eligible recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
