Darwin and Susan Cline Endowed Scholarship

After long and rewarding professional careers, Darwin Cline retired from Merrill Lynch as Senior Vice President and Susan Cline retired from her interior design business in Greenville, South Carolina. Darwin and Susan Cline were raised in rural North Carolina and have a strong belief for the value of education. Their beliefs in taking advantage of educational opportunities were instilled in them by their parents who truly valued education, but because of the Great Depression, did not have opportunities beyond public education available to them. Darwin and Susan Cline want to provide the gifts of opportunities provided by higher education to students who may otherwise not been able to pursue their educational dreams. Students eligible for this scholarship are those enrolled in certificate, diploma, degree, or vocational programs at the College. A student must have and maintain at least a 2.5 GP A at the College, or from previous high school or college academic work if not previously enrolled at the College.
