Aughtry Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

Judith and Paul “Bo” Aughtry have established this fund to honor Judith’s mother, M. Jacqueline Wohn. In addition to being a loving parent, she was employed in the nursing program at Greenville Technical College from 1981 to 1996. She started her career at Greenville Tech as a teacher and retired after serving as Dean of Nursing. She is remembered by College employees and students as a great leader who had high expectations for all was was able to lead all of them to met and exceed those expectations.

This fund will be used to provide scholarships for students enrolled in the nursing program at Greenville Technical College. Funds may be used to pay eligible educational expenses for recipients, such as tuition, fees, books, and supplies. To be eligible, students must have and maintain at least a “C” average or 2.0 GPA at College, or from previous high school or college academic work if not previously enrolled at the College. Preference will be given to students who are residents of Greenville County.
