Ashlyn & Chad Cousins Endowed Scholarship

The Ashlyn & Chad Cousins Endowed Scholarship was established in December of 2022. Chad and Ashlyn Cousins are Greenville, SC residents. Ashlyn is originally from Boca Raton, FL and is a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway, C. Dan Joyner. Chad is a native of Greenville County, SC and is the CEO of McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, a regional architecture, planning and advisory firm with over 300 employees in 8 Southeast offices as of 2022. Ashlyn and Chad were married in 1993. They met and became college sweethearts at their alma mater, Clemson University, where Chad earned his BA in Economics, and Ashlyn her B.S. in Financial Management with a concentration in Real Estate. Their 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan (Emily) and Caleb (Ashley) are also Clemson graduates and residents of the Greenville area. Chad has served on the Greenville Tech Foundation Board since 2019, as Properties Committee Chair, and most recently the Executive Committee. In addition to their support for Greenville Technical College and other community-centered leadership and investment, the Cousins also helped found Greenville Classical Academy (a faith-based classical K-12 school) and the Greater Greenville Youth Tennis Association.

Students eligible for this scholarship are those enrolled in certificate, diploma, degree, or vocational programs at the College. A student must have and maintain at least a “C” average or 2.5 GPA at the College, or from previous high school or college academic work if not previously enrolled at the College. For this scholarship, the Committee will give preference to students enrolled in the Architectural Engineering and Engineering Design Technology (or equivalent future) academic and vocational programs.
